The Fund’s Activity

The Fondo di Garanzia degli Obbligazionisti (FGO) is a consortium formed on a voluntary basis between the Banche di Credito Cooperativo BCC (BCCs) in order to protect bondholders’ right of credit issued by the same BCCs.
The Fund protects bondholders – individuals or legal entities – whose bonds are issued by the Banks, in case of failure to comply of its consortium members- when the accrual of interest or capital repayment are within the extent and within the terms envisaged by the Statute and by the Regulation.
